Transcription from Bro Isaac Robson

Dad and I arrived in Peru about a week before Bro Isaac and spent time visiting several churches around San Ignacio, a mid-jungle mountainous area.

A main purpose of the trip was an eleven-hour journey by truck over rough mountain roads to the town of Laguna de San Pablo. We were told they had not had a visiting minister in nearly 18 years. The church there had recently completed a good-sized building, so the meetings also served as dedication services. Believers from several surrounding mountain groups gathered, and we held two to three services, including questions and answers. During the meetings, I had the privilege of baptizing three people who had walked eight hours from the mountains to attend.

Afterward we returned to Lima, where Isaac Hatfield arrived and ministered, with Brother Paco from Honduras interpreting. Isaac and I then traveled to Iquitos, where we held two services with Brother Marco and Brother David.

From there we traveled about two hours by boat and canoe to Timicuru Grande, a small farming community. A brother has moved there and begun a cacao plantation, with a burden to one day fund a message radio station for the region

We had a service or two there and then came back. So really a quick trip.
